Upgrading of existing WTP from 40MLD to 57.5MLD to meet future water demands. Halcrow Barry (the JV company between Halcrow Group Ireland and J. B. Barry and Partners Limited) in association with Fehlily Timoney are appointed by Cork City Council, to undertake a detailed assessment of the existing WTW’s at Lee Road.
We have produced a design review report updating previous Preliminary Reports which recommended that the upgrading of the Lee Road Water Works from a design figure of 40Ml/d to 57.5Ml/d to ensure they meet the current and future water demands in the City and its environs as part of overall strategy for Cork City & County. Outline Detailed Design has been undertaken and Contract Documents have been produced.
