Halcrow Barry (the joint venture company between J. B. Barry and Partners and Halcrow Group Ireland) have been appointed by South Dublin County Council to develop a premium Cycle Route between Tallaght and Liffey Valley Shopping Centres, a distance of 8km. The project is currently at Feasibility and Route Selection stage, and we are currently developing a number of route options taking into accounts constraints such as the proposed Metro West route, crossing of the existing Cork Dublin Rail line, Newlands Cross Upgrade along with providing for greater connectivity to the Grand Canal premium Cycle Route. Key to the successful delivery of this project will be early stakeholder engagement and getting buy in from the NTA on the Quality of Service that can be achieved for different sections of the overall route.

We are delighted to have been appointed for the Tallaght to Liffey Valley Cycle Route, which will greatly enhance our already established position in delivering high quality cycling infrastructure.
