    We were appointed by Ballymore Group as Civil and Structural engineers for this ongoing development, from planning stage and through construction to handover. The design is being undertaken as a fully collaborative BIM Level 2 project.

    The 8th Lock development is located on the site of the former Ormond Printworks on Ratoath Road in Ashtown-Pelletstown, Dublin 15. This mixed-use development comprises 435 apartments and commercial and amenity space. The development will also include public plazas, a healthcare centre, pharmacy, own-door offices and gym, with all associated site development works including parking, roads, drainage, footpaths, landscaping, site services, and sundry related works.

    Situated within walking distances of existing key transport options, including Dublin Bus, cross city Luas service and Pelletstown rail station, the development also includes public plazas, a landscaped central area of open space and links to the adjacent Royal Canal Greenway.
