    Water

Lüleburgaz, which is located approximately 60 kilometres south west of Istanbul, has a population of 100,000. Even though it has a population of this size, Lüleburgaz had no wastewater treatment facility and discharged untreated sewage into the Eugene River and ultimately into the Aegean Sea.

The provision of Supervision Services for a new wastewater treatment facility formed part of the project brief in addition to the provision of Technical Assistance and Capacity Building Programme for the Project Implementation Unit (PIU) and a Water Utility Department.

The Conditions of Contract were the FIDIC Yellow Book and our role was as "Engineer" for Supervision of the Works.
