We’re delighted with all the public interest we received at the Bantry Flood Relief Scheme Public Participation Day that was held last month. Ross Kinsella, the Project Manager for the scheme, gave two presentations and with Cork County Council and the Office of Public Works spent time interacting with the local community including answering any questions that were raised during the event. Topics that Ross presented included some of the types of works being considered for the scheme including flood embankments, flood walls and nature-based solutions among others.
