    Transport & Traffic Assessments

Our team was engaged as traffic consultants during the planning approval process for St. Patrick's Hospital in Dublin 8. Our responsibilities included preparation of the transport chapter of the campus masterplan, traffic and transport assessment, mobility management plan and liaising with client, local authority and transport authority (TII) on adjoining road network developments.

Each of the tasks were carried out with accessibility and sustainability at the forefront. The transport strategy we developed for the campus masterplan has guided future development of the site and was cognisant of existing and future public transport in the surrounding area. Additionally, pedestrian and cyclist accessibility and permeability as well as facilities for pedestrians and cyclists were examined under this plan. Further, allowing for the development of managed travel options and more informed travel choices for staff and visitors whilst reducing dependency on private car use associated primarily with commuter travel were incorporated as well.
