N13 Letterkenny to Bridgend Traffic Calming Assessment, Donegal

We were commissioned by Donegal County Council to provide engineering consultancy services at the 3 locations Manorcunningham, Newtowncunningham and Burt. Barry Transportation are completing an assessment of the existing traffic calming features at each site. Following the assessment a recommendation report for each Traffic Calming location detailing how they can be aligned with the current TII standards will be completed.

Traffic calming aims to reduce vehicle speeds in urban and residential areas by self-enforcing traffic engineering methods. Traffic calming has been utilised by Donegal County Council to improve safety for motorists, pedestrians and cyclists along the N13.
