Senior Mechanical Resident Engineer

Location: Dublin, Site Based

Essential Qualifications & Requirements:

• An honours degree (level 8 in the National Framework of Qualifications), or equivalent professional qualification, in mechanical or electrical engineering as applicable to the role.
• Full driving licence
• At least 10 years’ post graduate relevant experience with at least 5 years’ relevant experience in the delivery of major Civil and/or Mechanical/Electrical Engineering Infrastructure Works. Ideally the candidate should have at least 3 years on water / wastewater treatment plant projects but consideration will be given to candidates who fulfil the other requirements. Ideally, the candidates should have experience administering contracts using both the Public Works & FIDIC Contracts. The candidates should have a good knowledge and awareness of Health & Safety legislation and regulations.
• Relevant experience on site, supervising MECIA (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, and Control & Automation) Works on major Civil and/or Mechanical/Electrical Engineering Infrastructure Works projects. As well as experience of detailed design / procurement and construction / commissioning experience in large scale Civil and/or Mechanical/Electrical Engineering Infrastructure Works projects.
