St. Luke's Hospital, Highfield Rd, Dublin 6

As part of the National Plan for Radiation Oncology we delivered structural design services to St. Luke's Hospital in Dublin for the provision of two new Radiotherapy suites and the replacement of a further two linear accelerators.  The centre provides a range of radiation oncology treatments. Shielding for the two new units was achieved using high density blocks and were the first demountable type bunker construction in Ireland. Significant supplementary steel shielding was also required for the upgrading of the older rooms.
